What a year! With almost 100K Sales, it was a busy Market!
Despite the Government Intervention due to the Extreme Buyer Bidding Wars, the Ontario’s Fair Housing Plan only slowed down the Market for a few months.
The second Government Intervention came into effect on January 1st, 2018 with the New Mortgage (OSFI) Stress Test Guidelines. Although many Buyers’ Purchasing Power has gone down, it may drive them to buy less expensive Homes like Semi-Detached, Condos, Lofts and Townhomes.
